Irini Dijkhoff (ESR3) has attended the satellite meeting of the 17th edition of the annual European Epidermal Barrier Research Network meeting which was held in Bordeaux, France, on the 18th September 2019. This event is a meeting point for European scientists that are interested in a broad range of aspects regarding epidermal barrier function.
Irini has been invited to co-chair one of the session of the meeting. In addition, Irini's poster about "Simulating the impact of diesel exhaust particles on human skin using a 3D in vitro epidermal model" has been awarded with the 2nd prize!!! Congratulation Irini!
