Irini attended the BioBusiness Winter School 2021 as a virtual event from the 3rd till the 5th of February. This training was organized by Hyphen Projects and is part of BCF courses. This inspiring course was designed for PhD student, Postdocs, or master students that would like to make a switch from academia to industry at one point in their career. It focused on filling the gap of knowledge in several business aspects, such as product development, IPR, venture capital and business models, that many scientists have. The course included many lectures, discussions and first-hand experiences from Life Science speakers from industry. It gave Irini the opportunity to connect with leading business people and expand her international network.
